THE ROJAK ROUTE
THE MISSION
Our mission with The Rojak Route is to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of business owners who have brought the flavours of Singapore to new corners of the world. Through these flavours, we uncover stories of resilience, creativity, and the ways these business owners interpret of the cuisine, adapt and thrive abroad.
We want to showcase how food can connect people and inspire others to share Singapore cuisine.

BEHIND THE NAME
Why The Rojak Route?
Rojak is more than a dish; it’s a celebration of diversity. Just like its mix of contrasting flavours, our project is about Singaporeans blending their roots with the cultures of the places they’ve settled in. It’s a journey of flavours, stories, and connections - a little messy, a lot unique, and always heartfelt.
PROGRESS AND PLANS
We’ve just begun our journey, and already we’ve had the privilege of meeting passionate F&B entrepreneurs from India to Europe to USA. From chicken rice to chendol, each story adds a new flavour to The Rojak Route.
We are currently documenting these stories through photos and video, and we will update our progress here. Next, we will be compiling them into a coffee table book and develop a pop-up website to celebrate the global Singaporean food entrepreneurs.
